Mark has entered the stage dancing and very happy, we are giving him an standing ovation. As he started talking and he is definetely emotional to what it might be his last keynote.

First numbers are coming in 10000 registered attendees mark teh 7th Synergy conference that started in Houston. Before that some of you will remember the good old iForum.

What is the ultimate mobile device? People.. we are the key

Innovation award video highlight:
WestPac One gold image for 15000 users
BT – Using Citrix CloudPlatform for their core engine
Taco Inc – using XenDesktop to have real time access to information in the production line
AutoDesk – using Citrix CloudPlatform to be more agile designing products and collaborate around the world

The winner for the Citrix innovation Award is AutoDesk.

1.4+ million desktops deployed using XenDesktop via partners and hosting/services providers.

BT is presenting how they can help companies to transform their IT with the Citrix CloudPlatform

Business ready workspaces from ISVs

ShareFile is serving 45k business, from 0 to 1mm licenses in eighteen months.

API3.0 for Sharefile has been release. 45k business, two customers with more than 75k employees. This is a great technology, easy to deploy and with great security. Storage agnostic and you can use Citrix Storage or the storage you have in your data center

Google is talking about the Chrome book and how it can be use in the enterprise when combined with Citrix products. The largest Australian retailer is deploying thousands of Chromebooks with XenApp. It is a thin client like option.IMG_0112

Citrix is improving Mac experience. They are demoing the new receiver and how it is moving processing to the MacBook instead of using resources the servers resources. This is new for Mac but has been in the Windows receiver for a while.

A video (in spanish with sub-titles) about winery in Chile and how they use Citrix XenApp to have access to data anywhere in the field

It took about 1.5 hours for Brad (Cheif Demo Officer) to get on the stage. this is a first. Citrix is actually allowing tech engineers to do the presentation this year.

Worxmail has a great new user interface, features such as microvpn, email triage, one click join/start a meeting.
It also announced WorxNotes to compete with Evernote. It has pics, voice, meeting groups delivery. Very tightly integrated with the Worx family.

Sharefile has released the digital signature for important information. Some new connectors were announced: to network shares on the internal network, also a connector for sharepoint, box, dropbox, salesforce. It was super easy to move documents from dropbox to Sharefile using the mobile app and the connector.

The Citrix workspace demo done by Brad Peterson (chief demo officer) showed windows applications hosted on XenApp being served to Google Chromebooks, iPad and Windows RT Pro and the smooth roaming when moving from one platform to the next one.

Xerox has a new Worx enabled app for remote printing, this app will allow customer to print to your network connected printers from mobile devices that are not on the corporate network.

WorkSpace suite is a new licensing flavor. Citrix is offering a 50% discount to customers moving away from VMWare View or Horizon. They called it a rescue program.
